A new year is nearly on us and one of my favourite past times of the last year was blogging, although I only managed to maintain it for a few months writing a brief post was a great way to put pay to the day and move on to the next. I thought I'd get in before the rush and start just before the new year.

Indesit fridge freezer 

It's been a long day today, my girlfriend Marta and I woke up early because I was having a new fridge freezer delivered and the slot was between 7-10. The fridge did get here at 730 this morning which is country to my normal experience with waiting for deliverys. It was soon in and after leaving it for a few hours to settle down I fired it up and transferred all the food over.

Marta and I tided up the mess that was left from the old one and headed out shopping to fill the new, as the food in the old freezer was so old it was hardly worth keeping and a good opportunity to refresh the stock. We went to Asda and stocked up on food for the week ahead and filling the freezer as well as getting a new Brita water filter and a replacement club for one that had blown in the front room. We stopped at Sainsburys on the way home because the bread is better there and I wanted to pick up this months Flypast magazine to read over the weekend.

We came home and had a nice simple dinner of roast chicken, onion rings, breaded mushrooms and southern fried chips before finishing it off with the Polish cake she had bought while I was getting a hair cut. Now its been a while since I wrote a blog so I hope you'll forgive all the little mistakes that I've made in this post and allow me to re-learn my skills.
