Heroes Don't Come Home

We all remember the events of September 11th 2001 the sadness we all had as we watched the events unfold on T.V, Hundreds of people died that morning and many more would volunteer to put their lives on the line.

This is the story of two friends, one of whom lost his farther in one of the towers as a result they sign up for the marines to serve their country and avenge the fathers death.

At times this film is moving especially when dealing with the fall out from signing up at the age of 17 and how a family deals with their son losing his innocence in a war zone. Leaving friends behind who are moving on to collage and other things while the two involved are facing death on a daily basis. You see the two friends fighting together in Afghanistan with the harsh reality that is war, loosing friends and  then coming home and trying to deal with ordinary life afterwards. This film doesn't show the fitting like most but does show the effects of war very well.

Moving and thought provoking through out the whole film should be watched and appreciated for all the difficult things it deals with.
