The Girl On The Train Poster |
So I had £2 of credit for an Amazon digital product essentially and with that in mind I rented The Girl On The Train for 48 hours.
Its been adapted from a best selling book and thats pretty clear all the way through the film and it must be a good read and a really progressive thriller. I might even look out for it in the future.

Screen Shot The Girl On The Train |
The film itself is good an alcoholic constantly looks out the window of her train home and thinks about the past she left behind. One day she sees something that makes her want to go and investigate and the whole story starts to unfold. Being an alcoholic she's unsure of the events herself and has to sober up and work out the events for herself and place together everything that happened and as she does so the tension builds.
It was a good film and gives you the perspective of an alcoholic and how they see the world through their ongoing struggle, while it wouldn't be my first choice of movie it was worth the rental and worth a look in the future if only for the way the story is constructed.
