I'm sure there are many actors who can point to a film and say that wast the turning point in my career  and this is that film for Mathew McConaughey.

I must have seen this film not long after it came out, a friend of mine downloaded it and we watched it in his front room. The film had great reviews at the time and even now 4/5 years latter on it's still a really good film that draws you in and shows the star reaching the top of his game.

The lawyer Mick works from his Lincoln town car as a defence lawyer he's street smart as well as legal smart and knows a few tricks that maybe aren't the right side of the law but he enjoys hustling a few extra bucks from his clients. When he is personally selected to defend a client who's committed assault and battery along side attempted rape for a rich client who he believes to be innocent things take on a different edge as the case progresses and soon Mick is questioning every thing but all the while he is still bound to defend his client and fight his case. The film is a gripping legal thriller and it's fast paced story is great to watch. Team that with a great actor coming of age in McConaughey and its a recommended watch and you'll be pleased you did !
