Back to work but a morning with Marta

I managed to get the jag to limp over to Harrow and pick up marta it's not got much life in it and luckily I'm going to drop it off on Monday. We came home ordered a pizza and settled down for my last movie of the day and it was a good one. 

Amazon recommended Before I Go To Sleep, probably because I'd just finished The Kings Speech and they both have Colin Firth as the lead actor.

Based on award winning book this thriller was a pleasant surprise. Right from the start it grabs you and leads you down the path of a great story with superb acting. A rollercoaster of who done it with lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing all the way and never knowing the next step. I have to be honest with most films I can kinda work out whats coming and then its just a matter of sitting it out to the end and it becomes a bore fest. But this one was different. Just when I thought I knew, the story took a different turn and lead me down another path always building suspense along the way. Until the ultimate conclusion you'll be hooked as I was. Who to trust, Who cares about you and what are there motives these are the questions you'll be left with after this a great journey.

Marta and I woke up early and I thought we should find a more gentle film to cuddle up to and start the day in a nice way. So I put the coffee on to brew and searched through Amazon prime. Being a fan of Rohal Dahl since I was a child, Who wasn't ? I thought we'd give this a try of course there are a couple of Stella named actors which helps withe the draw of any movie. Rohal Dahl's Esio Trot is a really pleasant film. Its classic Rohal Dahl, how does a shy person get the attention of the woman he's fallen for ? simple he finds something she's passionate about and helps her to achieve that goal. If it happens to be the desire for her small tortoise to grow then invest your life savings into ever bigger tortoise and hatch an elaborate scheme to replace her little Alfie, with Darwin, Spartacus and 97 other tortoise until he's doubled in size. All the while keeping an eye on your love rival who's more out going and cofident than you could ever be, will true love win out ? you'll have to watch and see.
