Dark Side Of The Moon, Album Art
Pink Floyd
With out doubt one of the greatest if not the greatest albums of all time. The 8th best selling album in the uk of all time and held a position in the top 100 for 40 years, yes thats 480 months imagine the competition in that time frame. Released in 1973 but don't be fooled into thinking this is 70's music because it is timeless.

I myself own this recording in too many different formats like many others I'm sure and its pure pleasure to listen to on all of them. If you want the warmth of the original the vinyl is for you try to find an older pressing for your collection not that the remastered isn't good but you should nave the feel of listening to a classic album when listening to a classic album if you ask me. place it on your turntable on a quiet evening set the volume to mid and be enveloped by the music, dare to close your eyes and let your mind drift as it assimilates the new sound coming to you.

To me its a work on life and it takes you through fro the heart beat at the start and the journeys hopes and ambitions we all have and people have for us right through to the end when your mind is going and your slowly fading out into nothing.  To try and pick out a meaning of each song would be to describe one person in a painting of many its difficult to describe with out detracting from the others. Everyone should own a copy there are 45 million copies out there so I can't be the only one who thinks this way, come and join us you won't regret it !
