I entended to just have one post today but while I was killing time waiting to chance my arm getting the car to start to pick up Marta I thought I'd watch The Kings Speech. I watched this years ago and it was a treat to revisit.

Colin Firth is simply brilliant and draws you in with his magnificent portrayal of king George VI. The way in which he shows the disability is simply incredible and must have been so hard to act and yet its a flawless. I can't begin to imagine how much time it would have taken to learn. With great support in the way of Geoffrey Rush as his therapist and Helena Bonham Carter and his wife queen Elizabeth. Its a Journey you'll be glad you took along side these great actors. To battle so hard to overcome a crippling problem in the public eye the traps and pitfalls along the way only make you route for him even more. I would highly recommend a viewing and I'm sure you'll get as much pleasure from it as I did. A well deserved Oscar.
