''All is quiet on New Year's Day, the world is wired it's underway'' U2. But today seems like every other Sunday may be that's just getting older. When I was younger Christmas Day and New Years seemed different. Everything was closed on Christmas Day where as now there are shops and garages open all over. You'd have watched tv and seen back to back adverts for New Years sales and now you can get them all on Christmas Day on your phone and never have to brace the cold. I guess that's progress.
So with the new year comes resolutions, a time for reflection on who you are and what you want to change going forward. With much considered opinion for me it'll be to quit smoking, wait wasn't that last years resolution too and the year before that ! Well this Years it's a two pronged offensive on my addiction as I'll be here sharing it with you tell you all the ups and downs as well as the anxiety and stresses.
