Snowy country lane Poland

On Wednesday Marta took me for a walk around her village just outside Wroclaw. It was nice and even though it was -10C it was only my legs that cold cold so thermal leggings are highly recommended if you plan to visit during the winter and winter is 5 months long or so I'm told. We visited her uncles house and by and large its nice and the locals are friendly and helpful. As with any village there are the houses that are dilapidated. Every one owns a dog but not as a pet more for security as the police are a good 20mins away. The streets were deserted and we could walk down the road to avoid the worst of the ice that was still on the side roads. The treat of the walk was a stop at the local shop to stock up on sweets and crisps before heading back to her parents house for a well earned lunch of pork and chicken in bread crumbs with runner beans and potatoes there wasn't a crumb left on my plate. Catch you guys soon !
