I've been in Poland for a few hours now and I have to be honest every one has bent over backwards to make me feel welcome and the foods nice and plentiful they do have mcdonald's if all else fails I've been told. Marta is the only other person in the house who speaks english and my polish leaves a lot to be desired. Did you ever watch a war film where an RAF flyer is being sheltered by a continental family and he has no idea what is going on but gets treated like a prince think of it in those terms. I'm sure I'll pick some up over the week ahead but right now most of it goes over my head.
