Its my last night in Poland and a week ago i didn't know what to expect, I was heading in to the unknown. Well I can tell you all now its been great even if we had Marta's mum escorting us everywhere I can highly recommend a visit.
From Landing at Wroclaw airport every body has been helpful and at times gone out of their way to make my stay a good one. If I was in a shop and spoke in english they would do their up most to help me and more often then not their english was better than mine which only puts me to shame. While I'm sure that 20 years ago it was a lot different now its just another European city but with its own touches that will forever keep its identity as the shops fill with colthes sporting trendy English phrases and big American/European brands begin to take their strangle hold on the country I'm sure in time a backlash will begin and Poland will again reclaim its identity, How much of the community spirt will have been destroyed only time will tell and I hope I'm wrong and it survives but for now i just can see that happening.
