Langley Park In The Fog

This morning after a hearty breakfast and watching the end of A Time To Kill Marta and I went for a nice country walk and it was so nice and refreshing. Despite there being fog in the air it was actually surprisingly warm. we went to one of near me called Langley Park and just took a nice stroll around. The arboretum was muddy but it was ok and good to get out and enjoy the day. We popped into the little cafe and had a mocha and as Marta had sat at the table with a chess board on it I challenged her to a game. Well I though my chess skills were bad but Marta was trying to play checkers with chess pieces at times which made it a pretty one sided game if I'm honest and called for protests of "bloody English rules", I thought they were universal but hay. But in a all it was a nice walk and if your in the Slough area have a look nd explore the giant redwoods.
